Miss Smith, a local meter maid, has been sending letters of love and encouragement to hundreds of local residents for many years.
Every morning at 11AM, she walks downtown to handout these letters of love to random strangers.
“I’m just doing what’s right...” she said.
We asked if she has received any return for these letters, her response:
“Well to be honest, I haven’t, but that won’t stop me.”
We asked a local recipient of a letter what his thoughts were, and he said:
“I’m pretty sure this is just a ticket, it says I have to pay $15...”. Another recipient said, “Dang, another one... Now I have 11! I wonder if they'll forget...”.
Miss Smith said she’s thankful for all the positive feedback, and plans to send more out later at 3PM.
