Governor Mike Dewine recently made a mandate, (basically a cheap not a law, law) stating that all bars have to make 10:00 PM, last call. This has so far crippled many bars, including many around Hamilton. Many businesses have been shut down, and sadly may never return due to Dewine’s mandates.
Regardless, many Ohioans stayed up past 10:01 PM, upon hearing that Dewine had the virus. “Why?” You may ask... Because Dewine was in Quarantine, and couldn't do a thing!
Now Dewine only isolated himself for a small amount of time, but Ohioans made the best of it. Meme sharing went up 120%, and many people took off their masks, and partied. The parties were only lessened with the news that Dewine in fact, did not have the virus! There is now widespread speculation that he was just pulling our leg.
One local Hamiltonian said:
"When we heard Dewine was going into quarantine, I laughy reacted the post. Not because he got sick of course... but because he now gets to experience a quarantine like us now! Lol! When he tested again, I thought it was funny that it came back negative. Sure this proves the tests aren't always right, but I'm pretty sure Trump rigged it, just to scare Dewine!"
